On Thursday, March 19, we will go to package meals for the organization Feed My Starving Children (http://www.fmsc.org/). Look here for stories about our experience!
When we were at Feed My Starving Children I saw the true colors of my classmates shine through. Their regular attitude was gone and what I saw was their helpful attitudes come out.
it was ao much fun. you got to see how you could help the world. i went there once before but it was with my church, so it was different. i had fun seeing how my classmates change from being chaty and loud to being helpful and able to stay on task. Yep,!!!! we were on task the whole time, can you believe it an 8th grader on task. it was fun and i would go again.
feed my starving children was really fun. i totally agree with the anonymous person that saw "our true colors" i thought that was a great way to say that it was nice to see everyone helping helping others instead of themselves.
feed my starving children was fun!it taught me that when people say they are hungrey, they really arent all that hungrey. the children that this food goes to are so hungry that they will eat rocks to stop the hunger pains. its sad.
FMSC was really fun and hard. we had to pack about 80-100 grams of food into a little packet through a funnel and it was really hard to hit the funnel when you are going really fast.
we had tons of fun! Veggies, chicken, soy, rice. :))
ReplyDeleteFeed My Starving Children, i thought was so much fun! we really helped a lot of kids from possibly dying of starvation. it really made a difference.
ReplyDeletefmsc was fun. we got to help pack food in little baggies and help them. it was a good learning experience
ReplyDeleteIt was hard not to spill the food because once you dropped it you couldn't use.
ReplyDeleteFeed My Starving Children was a really fun thing to do for the community. We helped bag over 10,000 meals for the starving kids in Africa!
