One person in our advisory asked if we could go out to the llama farm and help the Carlson family take care of the animals. This project combined education with service in a big way! We learned a lot about llamas while grooming them, taking them for walks, and feeding them grain. Here's an Animoto video of our experience:

ReplyDeletecarlson's llovable llamas is an awesome farm. i have been working with their llamas for only two years i and i love it!!!!! i hope more people want to go to the farm!!!! they are amazing creatures and very unique!
ReplyDeletei loved it so much i am going to show a llama at the carver county fair. i already show cows and llamas are so similar that i cant wait to show one. my favorite llamas were mariah, perzilla, herrmann, chocolate chip and blotta. it was a great experiance and everyone should see the llamas
ReplyDeleteI went and it was so much fun. I would go again, and again, and again. Everybody should go because it was fun to see them and see how they act. I would love to see them all again. You learn so much about them, like how to talk care of them, brush them and we got to take them on walks. You should go, you will have so much fun.

ReplyDeleteLOVED IT!!!! It was soooo much fun! My favorite llama was Chocolate Chip she is an appoulosa and is adorable!I learned alot about llamas on this trip and i would love to do it again! they do not spit unless you make them mad!
