Helping the Friends of Uganda

Friends Serving Uganda (FSU) has been nominated as one of the charities in the MiPro Gives Back campaign. MiPro Consulting is awarding $10,000 to the charity that gets the most votes on their website from now until April 6.

They require your name and email to place a vote. MiPro is a reputable company and will not sell your info, but you may receive their newsletter and have to use the “unsubscribe” option. They require title and company, but I just entered “none” and it was accepted. Rules state only one vote per person.

Feed My Starving Children

On Thursday, March 19, we will go to package meals for the organization Feed My Starving Children (http://www.fmsc.org/). Look here for stories about our experience!

go door to door for money
collect money at lunch
bake sale
ask neighbors for $
sell gum
lemonade stand
snowman contest
pinata contest
sell cocoa / hot chocolate
talk to every class
sell pop
pay $ to watch movie in the media center during school
$ drive (donations)
ask public stores in our area to contribute
meke memorabilia that says "You saved a life '09" and sell them
